Hidden around the back of Shamrock Lea is a large secluded walled garden with established lawn, trees, fuchsia hedges, shrubs and many flowers, there is also a a separate area that would suit vegetable and fruit growers. Given the latitude of Stronsay this sheltered garden is a delight to be in for most of the year, there are many birds to be seen in and around the garden, from Blackbirds, Wrens, Robins, Sparrows, to Terns, Sea birds, Ravens and many others.
